Spirituality

Freedom is one of the corner stones of Jesuit pedagogy, and it also characterizes the spirituality of our college: it is an opportunity for all students without obligations. Every academic year is framed by the Veni Sancte and Te Deum. Our spiritual programs include a retreat every semester, a spiritual tearoom with a special guest, and our Meet-a-Jesuit series, where we get know a Jesuit personally. Preparing for Christmas, Easter and Pentecost by praying together is now a tradition at our college. These programs are supplemented by spontaneous evening prayers and our prayer chain during the exam period. Apart from spiritual programs, the presence of the college pastor is essential, as well as the fact that our college is located in the Jesuit centre of Budapest. This makes our spiritual life even more intensive and encourage our students look for the best way to „live for others”.
